Overview

Christian is an associate in the Public Law Department at Richards, Watson & Gershon. Christian advises local governments and other public agencies on a variety of government law issues.

Work for Clients

Christian serves as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Millbrae. He also represents cities and public agencies throughout California on complex land use, housing, and environmental/CEQA matters.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Richards, Watson & Gershon in 2024, Christian worked as a public law associate focusing on land use & environmental, municipal & public law, civil litigation & dispute resolution, and real estate matters.

Before his time as an associate, Christian was a regulatory specialist on the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) team at Meta via Milestone Technologies, Inc., where he helped to build out Meta's EHS compliance program while monitoring and interpreting laws and regulations to determine their impact on global operations. He also spent several years as a senior regulatory consultant at Enhesa, Inc., advising Fortune 500 multinational clients on the EHS regulatory compliance obligations of their operations and products under U.S. and California law.

During law school, Christian interned with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Solicitor's Office and the Vermont Attorney General's Office, Civil Rights Unit. He was a student clinician at Vermont Law School's Environmental & Natural Resources Law Clinic.
