RWG Announces Newest Shareholders David Lim and Steven Nguy
Richards, Watson & Gershon is pleased to announce that the following firm senior attorneys have been elevated to shareholder: David Lim in the Public Law and Litigation Departments and Steven Nguy in the Litigation Department.

David Lim is a member of the firm’s Public Law and Litigation Departments and is based in our San Francisco office. David is the City Attorney for the City of Fairfield and provides advisory and transaction advice to RWG’s public agency clients. Prior to joining RWG, David was a Deputy District Attorney in Alameda and Santa Clara counties and was the solo attorney in over 50 jury trials to verdict. In addition to his advisory practice, David also assists our municipal clients as special counsel in the areas of code enforcement, police practices and general litigation. David received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings College of the Law). David also has a Masters in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Steven Nguy is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and is based in our San Francisco office. Steven is a litigator who represents public agencies in both trial and appellate courts throughout California. He specializes in writs and appeals and complex cases involving land use, inverse condemnation, constitutional law, public works, and tort liability. Steven served on RWG’s Hiring Committee and enjoys mentoring junior attorneys in developing their litigation skills. Steven received his B.A. from the University of California, Davis and his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
