Richards, Watson & Gershon Promotes San Francisco Litigator to Shareholder
Firm Enhances Public Law Litigation Resources in Northern California
Richards, Watson & Gershon, a leading California law firm specializing in public law, today announced that San Francisco-based litigator Toussaint S. Bailey has been made a shareholder. The move continues the firm's investment in growing its Northern California presence.
Bailey specializes in high-stakes, complex civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes. He focuses his practice on representing municipalities and other public agencies in cases that span a wide range of public law issues, including land use and planning, constitutional law, fair housing, construction, environmental law, and telecommunications.
"We are delighted to promote a talented attorney like Toussaint to help us extend the reach of our litigation practice and better serve our clients with interests throughout California," said Kayser Sume, chairman of Richards, Watson & Gershon. "His transition into a senior-level role will be a critical component of our long-term strategic growth. The fact that Toussaint is 'home-grown' and has progressed at RWG from first year associate to shareholder makes us even more proud."
Gregory Stepanicich, managing partner of the firm's San Francisco office added, "Toussaint's promotion further strengthens our public law litigation team in Northern California and across the firm. His experience will benefit clients facing increasingly complex cases and legal challenges."
