Public Records Act Presentation

Roxanne Diaz will be a speaker at a special City Clerks Workshop entitled “The Public Records Act: Past, Present and Future” at the League of California Cities Annual Conference & Expo to be held on September 13, 2017, in Sacramento. This half-day interactive workshop will explore the historical and social foundations of the California Public Records Act, explain modern day best practices and discuss procedures and policies in light of the recent California Supreme Court case City of San Jose v. Superior Court.  City Clerk participants will also be guided through several group exercises lead by Ms. Diaz and the other panel presenters Eric Danly and Hong Dao Nguyen.
