Overview
In addition to our significant litigation experience in general, our attorneys have specific experience with litigation involving the California Coastal Act and Local Coastal Programs (LCPs). This type of litigation requires the substantial knowledge of coastal law, policies, and regulations that our attorneys have.
Our coastal litigation experience includes both supporting project approvals by local agencies and the California Coastal Commission when they result in litigation and challenging decisions of the Coastal Commission. We also routinely handle coastal litigation at all stages, including in state trial and appellate courts and, when necessary based on the claim, in federal court.
