Nicholas Ghirelli is an associate in the Public Law Department at Richards, Watson & Gershon. He serves as Assistant City Attorney for the Cities of Indio, Moorpark, and Agoura Hills. Mr. Ghirelli concentrates on the representation of public agencies in a wide range of government law issues. He also has substantial experience representing municipal clients on stormwater (MS4) regulation and compliance matters relating to the Clean Water Act and Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act. He was a summer associate at RW&G in 2012.
Mr. Ghirelli obtained his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he served as a Senior Research Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. During law school he externed with the Honorable R. Gary Klausner at the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and clerked for the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ghirelli worked for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein as a member of her legislative staff in Washington D.C.
